Interflow

Flowing Four Generations

Flowing through the centre of the artwork is the main waterway, representing the journey of Interflow and the waterways that are central to its work and identity.

There are four main waterholes positioned along the waterway, representing Interflow as a fourth-generation family business. Within each waterhole are four central circles, shown in the four main colours. Each circle and colour represents one of Interflow’s core values: honesty, reliability, competence and respect. These elements highlight how these values are embedded within the business and have remained central across each generation.

The waterholes are connected by flowing water, each containing three white ripples representing the past, present and future. This connection reflects Interflow’s journey across four generations and how its values continue to guide and shape the business over time.

The background of the artwork is filled with waterhole symbols that represent the work Interflow does. Each layered waterhole reflects Interflow’s sphere of influence. At the centre is the orange dot representing family, followed by the collective, then communities, and finally people and planet. This layering shows the expanding impact of Interflow while remaining grounded in strong foundations.

The background also includes twelve gathering places, representing each of the twelve Interflow offices. These gathering places are surrounded by U-shapes, symbolising the people within Interflow as well as the communities they work with. This reflects connection, collaboration and a shared purpose as one Interflow.

In the bottom left and top right corners are four ripples representing the four water types: water, stormwater, wastewater and culverts. Alongside these are symbols of Country, including bush tucker, bush medicine leaves, squiggly gum, seeds and kangaroo tracks. This section reflects Interflow’s strong commitment to caring for Country and the environment.
