NRL Indigenous All Stars 2025 - Collaborative Live Painting
In 2025, I was invited to create a collaborative live painting for the NRL Indigenous All Stars game. This artwork was designed as an interactive piece, inviting members of the community to contribute to the artwork on the day.

Artwork Description:
The artwork represents the coming together of two strong cultures. The orange gathering place represents the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander team, and the green gathering place represents the Māori team. The central gathering place symbolises the Indigenous All Stars game as a space for connection, celebration, and cultural strength.
The two gathering places around surrounded by people symbols representing the players on the field and the history of the Indigenous All Stars, with 2025 marked at the heart as the 15th year. Flowing waterways connect the piece, acknowledging Country and the rivers that connect us, including the Parramatta River and Burramattagal Country where the game was played. The waterways also symbolise the connection between Australia and Aotearoa. The dots along the edges, created by community, represents Country and the role community plays in bringing cultural stories to life.
