Rockpools

“Rockpools” is a three-piece artwork inspired by the rockpools down south, a place that means so much to me. Each canvas connects to the next, just like the way water moves through the rocks - always shifting, always flowing.

I wanted to capture the feeling of being there - the deep blues of the water, the way the sunlight touches the surface, and the bursts of life you find when you stop and look closely. The winding lines trace the natural paths of water, while the dots and patterns reflect the tiny details- shells, seaweed, and the little ecosystems that thrive in these spaces.

These paintings are acrylic on stretched canvas. Each canvas is 30x40cm. The total dimensions of all three are 90x40cm.
